A lot of people mistake that behind this flashy website and great events is a staff of thousand well paid people that do politics because it pays well.

Unfortunately they are wrong.

This whole organization is run by unpaid super volunteers who dedicate their lives to the building and maintaining of the Salt Lake County Democratic Party.

We aren't asking for kudos.  Instead we are asking for money.

We cannot do what we do without your help.

We cannot recruit great candidates, we can't help them campaign, we can't hold our mass meetings, we can't hold conventions, we can't recruit volunteers, we can't do anything without money.

This is why we are asking for your help.  There are over 1 million people in this County.  Right now about .002% of that population gives to the County Party.  Right now people are so sick of the Republican stranglehold on this State that we have a Democratic County Mayor. We are one seat away from a majority on the County Council.  We can overturn a couple of Senate seats like Buttars or Waddoups and we can kill the veto-proof super majority in the State Legislature.

Just imagine if more people gave to the Party.  The things we could do.  The possibilities are endless.
