What is Convention?

County Conventions are when all of county delegates (elected at Caucus Night, appointed afterwards, or alternates) gather to conduct party business each year. This year, county delegates will be voting on candidates for any contested (more than one Democratic candidate) races. County delegates will vote on the county party platform.

What are the Convention Rules?

Reviewed and approved by your Rules Committee (all the House District Chairs) and your Executive Committee, the Convention Rules will be reviewed by the Central Committee during the Quarter 2 Central Committee Meeting 10:30-11:00am.

Who do I contact about an accessibility accommodation?

We want to do everything reasonable to make Convention as accessible as possible for everyone. Click here to see our Accessibility Plan  and click here to let us know if you need an accommodation.  Please submit your accommodation no later than Wednesday, March 27 so we can plan accordingly.

Can't attend Convention in person

Delegates who are unable to attend in person may register online at 8:00am on Saturday 3/30. This will enable you to receive a virtual ballot. Registration closes at 12:00pm. Please refer to the Convention Rules for details on virtual voting. Balloting will be open for a minimum of 30 minutes. While we make every effort to make virtual ballots available to delegates, we cannot control the internet, spam folders, or other unforeseen technical issues. The best way to guarantee your vote is to show up in person.
