The Neighborhood Caucuses are your opportunity to become involved in the grassroots of the Democratic Party, as these Caucuses are responsible for electing Precinct Officers and the Delegates to the County and State Democratic Conventions responsible for nominating the Democratic Candidates for County and State offices. Caucus Night also provides an opportunity to hear candidates competing for Party nominations in person.

The Q4 Central Committee Meeting of the Salt Lake County Democratic Party will be held on Saturday, December 9 at the Salt Lake County Council Chambers, 2001 South State Street, North Building Room 1100. Registration will open at 9:30 am and the call to order will be at 10:00 am. The agenda is as follows:

The Salt Lake County Democratic Party Central Committee will convene the morning of August 12th for a special election to replace Sheriff Jim Winder. The event will take place at the Miller Conference Center on the Sandy Campus of Salt Lake Community College (9732 South, 300 West, MFEC Room 101--Auditorium).
The schedule will be as follows:
8:30 am: Sign in/Registration
9:00 am: Welcome and Introductory Remarks
9:15 am: Special Election for Salt Lake County Sheriff to replace Jim Winder
Balloting (including a second round if needed)

You are invited to join the Salt Lake County Democratic Caucuses for a sheriff candidate meet and greet and forum. This is a great opportunity to meet all the candidates, learn more about their platforms, and ask them questions.The event will take place at the Miller Conference Center on the SLCC Sandy campus. The shedule will be as follows:

Join the co-hosting caucuses for a Meet the Candidates Night at Murray Park! This is a great chance to get to know the candidates running in your community, and get involved in a campaign. There will be free hot dogs and hamburgers, so come hungry!
The co-hosting caucuses will also be endorsing, and will provide
further information on their individual methods.
The event will be at Pavilion #1 at Murray Park. The pavilion is near Parkside Elementary on the East side of the park: 495 E 5300 S. There is a suggested donation of $5/person, $20/family to help the caucuses cover costs, though a donation is striclty optional.

The Salt Lake County Democratic Party Q2 Central Committee Meeting will be held at the Salt Lake County Government Center (2001 S State Street, Salt Lake City, North Building Room Auditorium) on June 28. Registration will begin at 6:30, the meeting at 7:00. Only Central Committee Members may participate/vote, but the public is welcome to observe, as all Democratic Party Meetings are open.
