At the Q3 Central Committee Meeting, the Central Committee established for the creation of a sub-committee to revise the Party Constitution. That committee has been working hard on revising and updating the Constitution, and is wrapping up their work. They will be holding a meeting on December 8th to preview the working document and answer questions before it's formally introduced for discussion and amendment at our regularly scheduled Central Committee meeting on Dec. 13.

Join us! The committee would like to go through as many questions as possible so they can be sure to get through all of the other business at the regular meeting. Please see details below:

The final weekend before Election Day is here! Join us for a get out the vote phone bank in support of candidates across the County. Sign up for a shift from 10 am - 12 pm or 12 pm - 2 pm (or just drop in any time during these hours). Breakfast, lunch, and snacks will be provided.

Ballots are out, and it’s time to Get Out The Vote! Join three Democratic Women’s organizations for a phone bank to remind voters to vote for Democrats and return their ballots ASAP. The Blue Wave and Year of the Woman won’t come to Utah without hard work, and we’re ready to call hundreds of voters in one night! 

There will be games, refreshments, and training available to anyone phone banking for the first time. Bring your own cell phone, charger, and laptop if you can!

This event is kid-friendly, and a play room is available at HQ.

Election Day ballots are being mailed on October 8, 2018. That's only 17 days! We need all hands on deck the Saturday before ballots are mailed to remind voters to keep and eye out and to vote for Democrats across Salt Lake County! This is one of the most important Days of Action and we need volunteers for all of our candidates, up and down the ballot!

Come to YDU's annual end of summer BBQ! We'll have candidates speak and mingle as well as free food! Donations are not required, but any amount you would like to give would be graciously appreciated. Just come on out and have a good time with all the Young Dems of Utah! We have reserved the Big Field Pavilion in Sugarhouse Park. We hope to see you there and bring along a couple of friends! Feel free to bring potluck-style food to share.

We are in a suicide epidemic. The numbers of suicides, both attempts and deaths are increasing. 

As caring and loving people we know that we have to do something and soon.
So, following the example of the kids who are acting to change our views on
guns and the actions of the "Me Too" activists, Utah Stonewall Democrats and The Cole Project are asking for your help.

A panel of legislators, religious leaders, counselors and community
volunteers will be asked to do something new. 

This time the audience will speak and the panel will listen!

The goal is to come up with more effective ways of saving lives.

In the history of the Hispanic Caucus, no two Margarita Balls have ever been the same. This year the Margarita Ball will be on Friday August 10th at 7 pm.

Tickets are $35 apiece, which goes to the Utah State Hispanic Democratic Caucus, for the support of our Latino and Latina candidates.

You won't want to miss it this year we have a live band and we will be dancing the night away.

We will be electing an Interim Appointee for SLCounty Council District 4. The delegates of SLCounty Council D4 will be voting in this election, but all are welcome to attend.

We will be hosting a Candidate Forum for all the declared candidates in SLCounty Council Special Election: Interim Appointee on May 24, 2018 at Hillside Middle School.

We will have a mingle/meet the candidates from about 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and then hear from the candidates.

The delegates of SLCounty Council District 4 will be voting for the Interim council member, but all are invited and more than welcome to attend! Share the event, invite friends, get involved in the process!
