Join the March 5th Neighborhood Caucus Night

We're excited to announce that our 2024 Neighborhood Caucus Night will be March 5th and our information page is NOW LIVE! Find your Caucus Night location here!

What is a Caucus Night? It's a chance for Democrats to gather together with their precinct and House District and elect new Delegates and Precinct Officers for 2024. These Delegates will then go on to choose the 2024 Democratic nominees for public office at our County and State Party Conventions. Got questions? Check out our FAQ page.

This election cycle is one of the biggest Salt Lake County has ever seen and 2024 is our opportunity to make a meaningful difference in our state. Your fellow Democrats will all be at Caucus Night and we need you to join us.

Neighborhood Caucus is the bi-annual meeting of a party precinct where neighbors elect new precinct leaders and precinct delegates who reflect the values of the neighborhood and the Democratic party. Precinct leaders promote the party and coordinate party efforts within the precinct, such as voter registration, get-out-the-vote drives, and planning the next Neighborhood Caucus.

Precinct Delegates work on behalf of the precinct to review and vet party candidates for public office, then vote with other delegates to bring the best two candidates in each race to the party primary.
